 Cyber | The Mechanist
Cyber makes custom timepieces and various other mechanical time pieces as the fancy strikes her. While her simple grand-mother and -father clocks sell the best to the nearby port city of Gull's Rest, she in fact finds them among the most boring to craft, and has a much larger variety of eccentric pocket watches and other such time-related paraphernalia she much prefers to peddle.

While Cyber's projects do sell decently well, all of her profits tend to go straight into buying more scrap or other useless gizmos to rip apart she finds in shady market stalls. This has the direct consequence of making her one of the more frugal dragons in the clan, much to the concern of some of the more mother hen-like dragons in the clan.
Cyber herself claims this is, in fact, an advantage; if she skips a meal being too preoccupied with whatever shiny tchotchke she is working on, does it really matter if she could afford the meal in the first place?

Still, she does hope that her trinkets will eventually find a niche market and finally give her a steady enough income that she can spend a little less time fending off overly concerned clanmates and more time with her nose buried in something far more interesting.

Cyber has an unusually short mane for a Veilspun, and she is very diligent in keeping it that way. Her locks have a frustrating habit of snagging in the gears of anything nearby, which becomes especially painful when walking through her work-in-progress storage. She would have shaved it off entirely if she hadn't been painfully aware that her appearance is a vital component in soliciting the sale of her pieces.
