Light Tome Kurei is the official leader of Asmaji, although the new republic has shifted into a more democratic council rather than relying on a single leader. Originally an excellent scholar, Kurei found himself in the leadership position after Katonas was overthrown, as many dragons cited his reason and sensibility as good leadership qualities. He tries to fit in as much as he can, being as polite as possible, but occasionally, he sneaks into the busy markets to experience life before royalty.
