189.png 		Phthisis approaches his existence the same way he approaches his job. He has a duty to perform and has no time for distractions or emotions that could get in the way of it. Whenever people are able to see him he generally ignores their attempts to converse with him and moves on silently.

He does almost everything in his power to not enter into populated regions and towns. For the most part, he exists and travels throughout the forests of the Tangled Wood, purposefully avoiding anybody else.

 		Phthisis has existed for a very long time. Sometimes he wonders if he exuded from the decaying remains of an ancient fae or if he simply took this form because it was a simple shape to emulate. His memory does not extend into the darkness that represents the time before he became what he is now, and to be honest, Phthisis has no curiosity or interest in that portion of his 'life'.

He has been all around Sornieth, and cannot recall what region he first 'appeared in'. Wherever he goes, decay follows behind like his shadow. Phthisis does not enjoy his job, nor does he dislike it. It is his duty, and one that he could not escape even if he wanted to.

Only rarely has Phthisis chanced upon dragons or beastclans who can truly see him and interact with him. Despite the rarity of these encounters, Phthisis generally stays as far away from other indviduals in order to prevent social interaction of any type.

The worst interactions were when they could tell that Phthisis wasn't quite right and may have had something to do with their vegetables that rotted away in the field or with the stench being blown in by the breeze. He can't die, but it's a bit annoying for him to have to end his work early and move on.
