DELTA
2020 LEAP DAY HATCH
ELUSIVE QUARTERN
February 29th, 2020

xxxxxxxxx

While most are quickly drawn to the more eye-catching features in the secluded clearing outside the entrance to the bazaar, the rustling grasses and verdant foliage contain their own reserved beauty should one know to look.

Hidden among the dense vegetation, an elusive creature makes its home alongside the other quiet residents of the area. Should one look carefully, they may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of shimmering green scales or a watchful virescent eye peering out from beneath the brush.

Some dragons have collected tawny quills, claiming they belong to the elusive creature. This resident of the clearing is even more evasive than the sunset dancer; its existence is still widely contested among the dragons of the bazaar.

Those who believe in the existence of this being have dubbed it Delta, calling back to the first recorded date of its discovery. While the creature is nearly nonexistent the majority of the time, once every four years a sharp increase in sightings is reported, with many travelers describing the same verdant creature in the area.

Delta's more elusive nature has made its legend more controversial than the others of the clearing, but its believers are just as passionate about it as any other creature.
