"What would happen if an unhatched egg was moved to different region and after a few days hatched there, and there was a chance for the hatchling inside to develop a mutation because of the contrasting elements? For example, a unhatched wind egg that was hatched in shadow and the hatchling either has some black goo dripping from its mouth from time to time, or a lightning one hatching in water lands and the hatchling developing fins and gills?
It just came to me as I was wondering how I could bring Abellio's accent into his lore."

'Anyone have any headcanons about what causes eggs to hatch when you tell them to? As opposed to hatching when the EGG wants to like in real life.'
Each time you click each day you put a little more of the flights elemental magic in the eggs, once they've had enough elemental magic infused in them they hatch. That being said I have no idea why in lore I kept a nest from October to a week ago and it didn't hatch. But I think maybe abandonded eggs don't hatch because they've been taken from the nest they get elemental magic from and they have to be put back in a nest in order to hatch, which means in theory putting an egg in the wrong element of nest changes the dragon itself (which is similar to my ideas for lore for https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/59597029 when I get around to writing it)
