bio ❧ Don’t ask me to settle for this. It isn’t in my blood. Kanghui is the carefree and lazily smirking son of the Devils of the South, having inherited his father’s common sense and his mother’s voraciously ambitious nature. This descendent of the hurricane lilies is known for being a whirlwind of artistic destruction on the battlefield. An expert swordsman with a near fanatical pursuit of martial challenges, it’s said that his warm laughter is the only thing that keeps people from suspecting that the reigning Rei Kmeria is in his blood. The young prince’s personality has been likened to the gentle, inescapable currents of the ocean in summer, ever free-spirited yet all-consuming to those who get close enough to see the flecks of blood polluting the cozy, comforting waves. When his nigh obsessive personality isn’t caught by something that warms the whole room with his expression, his casual stance and surprised, drawn out smiles give him an almost sleepy demeanor. At once comfortingly transparent and tauntingly enigmatic, he’s one of Yusen’s lesser known princes but is beloved by nearly all who meet him. Nestled among comforting presence and easy, reassuring words is a fierce pride in his family’s reputation and his own honor. Although never understanding precisely the reason behind his mother’s animosity, it seems that he’s inherited his mother’s distaste for the ruling family of Zhengyu. Although never outright seditious, it’s rare the day that one of the Hari Kmeria’s lineage comes to Yusen without one of his family making a conflicting obligation mysteriously appear on his schedule to avoid any diplomatic missteps.

physical ❧ solid, slender musculature drawn into a relatively tall stature. large wings with an almost dominating wingspan, are impossible to ignore even when tucked neatly behind his back. right wing has a knick taken out of the crest at the top, yet doesn’t diminish the size or volume of his feathers. infinite battle scars along his upper arms and torso, mostly half-faded as though from the start of his career with few accidents occurring now that he’s stronger, has massive scars in the imprint of a shark’s maw wrapping around his left hip, sitting low yet partially visible when shirtless. three claw-shaped scars on face, stretching down across one eye with the center scar more lengthened than the matching two that frame it, mostly healed yet resulting in some minor damage to the eyesight. a stygian, almost abyssal gaze with dark irises that could be called the color of aging blood, were they not so warm like half-lit signal fires against a dark sea.
