bio ❧ The door swung open with a loud crack as the Crow sped out of his house and into the square, head turning around wildly as he looked around. Where is it? Where IS IT? WHERE IS IT?! The Crow suddenly burst into another sprint. Out of the corner of his red eyes, he could spot a small beam of light glistening through the tree branches and striking against the pebbles of the channel’s edge. Faster. FASTER. His neighbor’s yells were muffled by his pounding heart and ragged breathing, which grew strained the more he struggled for air. But each breath of air hurt his throat more, dragging him further into his frenzy. The gentle waves of the channel grew louder in his ears the closer he neared the edge, and it only made him run faster, as fast as his powerful legs could propel him. Dive. DIVE. Blue filled his vision as water flooded through his ears and all over him, the familiar and relieving splash of water registering in his mind. He swam as deep as he could, letting the cool water soothe his mind and aching body. He took a deep breath. He can breathe. Pisces had a relatively normal childhood in his homeland. Inspired by his father’s unique style of fighting in the sea, he decided to pursue a simpler (but nonetheless virtuous) lifestyle in the form of fishing, leaving the nest to find a place in the Achondrite Outpost further west, later settling into the smaller territory in the Arboreal Expanse. Pisces takes pride in his occupation, treating a bountiful catch as valuable as the spoils from a battle. He treats the ocean and the environment under the waves with respect, being sure not to overfish in one area to encourage population growth in the area. He’s a hospitable Crow as well, always open to sharing his catches and wisdom in fishing. In an encounter with a Maren Warlock one day, Pisces was cursed with fins and fills, confined to the channel while the mages of the Outpost worked towards a solution. Although they were not able to reverse its effects entirely, this new reality does not damper the Crow’s mood in any way. He sees this as a blessing to be able to dive deeper into the depths for bigger catches. One can spot him standing in the shallow parts of the channel, trident at the ready, as he watches for movement in the water.

trivia ❧ -> Often speaks in an accent with sailor lingo. He speaks in slang when in the company of other sailors, but reverts to a subdued accent whenever in more formal company. -> Occasionally fries his catches for a snack. His favorite snack is Red Octopus. -> Although the worst effects have been reversed, Pisces’ fins and gills remain and enable him to dive deeper into the water without needing to come up for air. However, the curse leaves him with the following detriments: > His Effluvial strain has been “diluted” by the Maren curse and is not as potent as other strains. > He must drink more water and is more tolerant when it comes to consuming fish (that is, he can eat more fish without getting ill).
