The quiet Pearlcatcher resides under the fronds of a partially crystallized willow tree within the water flight's domain, her deep green eyes watching and taking note of everything they see. Emerald, unlike some of her fellow ambassadors, came to the clan as an adult, instead of in her youth. As such, part of her still feels out of place among the other flight ambassadors, who most had the chance to grow up alongside one another, and have gotten close enough with others in their clan to start a family of their own. Not that she's interested in having a mate, aside from a brief fleeting curiousity with the fire flight's ambassador, but having hatchlings of her own would perhaps be nice. She could care less about romance, and instead only cares about the few friends she has made, such as the gentle and soft spoken Ice ambassador, Moonstone, who is frequent company for the other Pearlcatcher.

Emerald is a wise, yet incredibly sarcastic pearlcatcher who adores sharing her knowledge and gossiping, but knows that she has a bit of a reputation for being prickly and unapproachable so, she manages with that. She's perfectly fine to just have Moonstone, thank you very much, and vows to be the best aunt she could be for any of her dear friend's children with the...erm....cheerful... imperial that has managed to catch the shy pale lady's attention.
