Melina

There are Skydancers, and there are Sky-divers. Melina holds both titles happily. Sky-divers are those who participate in competitive figure flying, and she has always been inspired by the sport, even at a young age. With her determination and an unhealthy dose of self-sacrifice, Melina trained her entire life and shot her way up the rankings in a single year after her debut. It’s thrilling for her when she’s above the clouds, twisting and tumbling out near-perfect elements, and then touching her claws to the ground and standing proud. That spike of adrenaline and shortness of breath is a job well done in her book. Practice is in her blood, but on those irregular days off she enjoys swimming, a good murder mystery book, and talking an ear off her brother with all the extra breath she has. She continues to try to teach her brother the basics, but he continually proves to her that he can’t even execute a backflip to save his life. She says it to everyone, but her goal is to reach the number one global spot in five years or less. If not, she’ll gladly become a serial killer. Both will put her in the spotlight no matter what.
