Biography
Diamond and her sister Beryl grew up in a clan that values warriors the most. While Diamond found herself easily filling those expectations, Beryl didn't enjoy it as much. When Beryl up and left one day without warning, Diamond left behind the clan she knew forever to go find her sister who she missed dearly.
When she found Beryl in Eden's clan, she was upset at having been left without warning, and it took some convincing for her to stay. Eventually, the welcoming presence of the clan, and her sister, was enough to make her decide to stick around. She ended up working in Spade's guard.

Diamond’s lost track of how long it’s been. It can’t have been too long, but also it feels like it’s been forever. Searching in every nook and cranny she could find- all for nothing. She was sick of it, every day was filled with dread, and some days she worked herself to exhaustion. All for nothing.
It hasn’t even been a full year, she doesn’t think. Her clan was celebrating Wavecrest when she left, and it hasn’t come around again. Maybe. She hasn’t returned to the Sea of a Thousand Currents since she left, and she has no idea if outsiders ever usually celebrate other elemental festivals. Her clan never did.
She probably shouldn’t even refer to them as her clan anymore. She hasn’t seen them in so long, and she probably wouldn’t be welcomed back anyways. It’s just, before she left she saw nothing else. Only her clan, only her flight. And since then she’d never found any place to call home, to refer to as her ‘new’ clan. Always on the move, she never has an opportunity to stay anywhere long enough to do that.
And plenty have offered. She’s met a lot of dragons, seen a lot of different cultures and environments. While many have turned her away, just as many have invited her with open arms. It was a bit unusual. To her, at least. Her clan almost never got outsiders. If they did, they were from other highly respected clans, ones with equal respect for- no- obsession with warriors and fighting. And that was only other water clans. Dragons happily inviting in her, a foreigner and a stranger, into their home? Unfathomable. It took a while to get used to, but she couldn’t say it wasn’t a pleasant change. She was so used to hostility, the kindness she would sometimes receive blew her off her feet.
But despite that kindness, she was getting tired. Slowing down. And she didn’t want to, she hated how hard it was getting. She wanted to- needed to keep looking for her sister. But she wasn't sure how much longer she could do it.
