Biography
Meaning 'Light'
I am the light. I am the light that will guide you. Follow me to your... freedom. Embrace your destiny... I mean you no harm... follow me, follow the light, out of the Mire... this cursed mire. I cannot risk another dragon falling victim here. May the light guide you out, out of harm's way. You have so much of a future left in you. Just like my hatchling...
Nahara looked onwards, at the lost Wildclaw, wandering in the Mire. Poor thing... must have been lost for quite a while. Not sure how it has survived this far... perhaps it's time for me to intervene? Destiny must have led us up to here... Nahara walked up to the dragon. She could feel its fear, since everything it has ran into so far were hostile monsters. Backing away, it bared its teeth at her, as if warning her not to come close. "I mean you no harm," she said, smiling. "You seem lost. Perhaps I could assist you?" she asked politely, waiting for a reply. "Stop with the talking, I know very well who you are," the other dragon growled. His voice is strange... powerful, in a way? It also sounds as if it isn't used to draconian...? "I truly mean no harm, why so wary? Perhaps you need somewhere to rest? And also, how do you know me? Perhaps one of the locals told you?" Nahara said curiously. The Wildclaw stared at her for a while, and then conjured an orb of light. Nahara backed away. Why would he attack me? I have shown him nothing but kindness..."Nahara." She flinched at the sound of her own name. It had been so long since anyone had said it. So long, that in fact, it felt as if it belonged to a different dragon. "Nahara, you are tied to the incidents of missing hatchlings and dragons alike. Do you know of this?" Even though the Wildclaw's eyes were covered by some sort of veil, she could still tell that he was frowning. At all. "I don't know what you are talking about. I have done nothing but aided the travellers that have gotten lost in the Mire."
"Aided? Do you not know the consequences of your actions? They have been reported as missing. They are feared to be dead-"
"No! I... I never... I saved them! I helped them avoid death!"
""
"P-pardon?"she stuttered, taken aback by the strangeness of this weird language.
"Lies..."
"I... I truly helped them though, I saw them lost... I guided them. I won't let them die. I... I can't let them die."
"Then you have failed. They are nowhere to be seen."
"Failed... FAILED?! I... no... NO!"
"Their families are extremely worried about them."
"..."
"They want to believe that the dragons and hatchlings are alive."
"... I..."
"Do you know where they are currently?"
"... No..."
"Then at least lead me to where you last saw them...?"
"..."
"Well?"
"...No. I can't. It'll end in the same way as it ended for the dragons. It'll end in the same way as it did for my hatchling."
"How about you tell me the whole story? I only know half of it," the Wildclaw said, making the orb of light disappear.
"...Sure."
"Sit down and begin when you are ready." he said as he sat down. Nahara hesitated for a while. I've caused so much suffering... without even knowing...
