SEDNA Vestibulum sagittis.
xxx Born a Shadow dragon, this nocturne had an unfortunate accident in the sea of a thousand currents. They drowned. Yet, when their body was pulled from the water, the nocturne's eyes, once purple, were a glowing blue. By some miracle, they had come back, but they weren't the same;The memory of their past life is rather hard to recall. They gave themselves a new name, to show gratitude to the Tidelord (wherever he may be) for this act of mercy.

 		“Child,” the voice rumbles; yet it washes over her like a wave.”Do not be afraid.”

Am I afraid? She wonders. Everything is dark, and her body feels heavy, her chest burning. She can’t seem to recall the time before this moment; all she can remember is the sinking, and the tightness in her chest.

There is a sound, a whisper, a song. At first it is nothing but a far off calling; but it grows louder, stronger, till something pulls almost painfully at her chest, but it is better than the burning from before. It grows clearer; but there are no words. The song is a low haunting sound; filled with wonder, and longing, always longing. She finds herself drawn to it, even when it turns darker; foreboding and ancient.

“You’re going to be alright.” The voice speaks again; and she realises that they are what has been singing; but it's not them alone, the ocean sings back. A push and a pull between this strange voice and the ocean in which she is sinking, like the moon and the tide.

She believes them; the pain fades away, and suddenly she can breathe again.

The ocean, no longer her foe, embraces her, and she feels for just a moment a love so large that it can’t possibly fit into her small body.

The voice hums again, pleased.”My child,” They claim her so easily, like she’s a shiny treasure plucked from the shallows and the sand. She knows she belonged to someone else once; but she feels anew. “The ocean shall never again harm you.**” The voice makes this promise to her, then fades away, till it is but a distant soothing hum in the back of her mind; gone but not forgotten.

Her eyes were once purple and dark; but when she opens them now, they glow a haunting yet beautiful blue.
