Longneck Gladiator 		Aeres was privileged to be born in the caravan city of Moshkaran. There was no shortage of opportunities before him in the bustling metropolis, and yet... he struggled to find his calling. Many dragons flocked to the city for their own reasons, but none of them personally resonated with the Skydancer.

(WIP: He dabbles in herbalism; either his heart isn't in it or hes not very good at it. He grows discouraged/insecure, feeling he's discarded his privilege or simply no good at anything despite everything the city offers. He takes up menial labor jobs as he tries to figure out life; eventually works as a guard for an event and is forced to use, well, force. Realizes he might be good at combat and takes up training as a warrior. He does well and is at peace for a while.

Things stagnate. Sometime later his insecurity renders him desperate to feel worth something, leading to him hearing about Gildan and deciding to take him down. He wants to believe its for a noble cause but he thinks his desire to prove himself makes his motive selfish. While he does find Gildan, Aeres ultimately fails to defeat him and is kept as a prisoner for gladiatorial combat. He hasn't yet been able to escape, but the small hope he clings to has slowly been whittled down day by day...)

Older lore wip: A warrior/gladiator, he was tasked with taking down the ruthless Wildclaw known as Gildan. Gildan probably has a mage who managed to intercept him and tried to subdue him into one of his followers, but his will was too strong? Mage had to settle for mind wipe; he now fights as a gladiator for Gildan's amusement. Gildan initially had him fight outnumbered in hopes of him meeting a gruesome end, but the Skydancer persevered and came out victorious. Earning a bit of his respect, Gildan no longer seeks to have him annihilated but keeps him around as a means of entertainment, disposing of others unfortunate enough to wander within his domain.

The Skydancer himself remembers nothing beyond fighting for his survival in the arena. It's a bleak existence, but something inside him keeps telling him to cling to... something. He's not sure what it is (hope, maybe?) but he's certain it pertains to Gildan.
