The investigator Odebix hired to root out the dragons who poisoned Ophelia revealed that Otiven, the one who supposedly rooted out a plot from Science Team to overthrow her, was the mastermind all along. Using Carly's poisonous sweat and her cooperation, he poisoned the former Commander in her dinner. Gondor, the investigator, was quietly offed when he found out, but not before Chantilly, who had been working with him, narrowly escaped to report back to Odebix. She fell to her poisoned injuries, but Odebix sent Sabine to deal with the issue, and now Ophelia is avenged.
