Boreal

A warrior of the winter court, stern and vicious. Boreal uses his chains to stab enemies and restrain people, and is thusly dreaded by the Summer court. He also can kick up snow storms with his wings, which works to do massive amounts of AOE damage. Because of his dangerous abilities and his kill streak, he is more feared than loved and thus doesn't hold a high position in the court. Despite his nature, he is beloved by a few of the court's children, especially Sustanos, and he's just as devoted back. He treats Sustanos as his own child and would sacrifice anything for her even though she doesn't understand or know what to do with his love for her. He dreads the day the queen finds out about his devotion.

His counterpart on the battle field is Veil, whose near-suicidal attacks disturb him more than he'd admit. For all that Veil's attacks can be devastating, he has no wish to kill his rival because Boreal doesn't understand why anyone would want to die that badly and instead pities him more than anything. If he wasn't a soldier and if Veil wouldn't kill him for it, he'd happily wrap him up in a soft blanket and soothe him as best as he was able. Even despite the circumstances, Boreal still sometimes hides his eyes during battle so as to disguise his tears.
