KEEPER OF PRIESTLY LAW

Laws of the Priestly Class

1.) To be a member of The Priestly Class, a dragon must have three "Desirable" genes. These genes are: Crystal, Iridescent, Metallic, Petals, Alloy, Butterfly, Facet, Shimmer, Circuit, Glimmer, Opal, Stained, Runes and Spines.
2.) The Priestly Class mates rarely, and only with a worthy Monarch. They may mate with each other if no suitable monarch is available. They may occasionally mate with Priestly-Hopefuls, but they must never mate with ordinary commoners.
3.) The Priestly Class does not participate in civil societies. They are an elite.
4.) The Priestly Class resides with each other, not with their breed. They live in the first slots on the first page.
5.) They are to be dressed in Sylvan clothing.
6.) Priest hatchlings spend their childhoods learning how to be Priests. Once they grow up, they assume their Priestly duties.
7.) The Priests have three jobs:
A.) Seek Arcanist's blessings for this lair.
B.) A check against any corruption of the Monarchs. The Priests come from commoner stock, and so they are said to care for the well-being of the commoners. If commoners suspect corruption of one or multiple Monarchs and they find that the Council is being unresponsive, the commoners can appeal to the Priests. The Priests have the authority to banish any Monarchs judged to be corrupt. They may even dissolve the Council entirely if they feel it is necessary.
C.) Pass on lair wisdom to new monarchs. That is to say, it is the Priests' job to teach new monarchs how Gollia works.

Exalting Vesuvius to the service of the Arcanist will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
