Biography
Scilphera was still - She crept forward slowly and silently; creeping along against the dry, earthy walls. Soon she saw daylight up ahead, stalked forward quickly, but still silently. As she reached the hole, she looked down and saw dens and dusty ground that had been raked with claws.
Just as she was about to jump down, she heard scuffling behind her, feeling cold clawtips on her tail. She immediately turned around quicker than expected and swiped at the dragon behind her. The dragon yelped and jumped backwards out of the way. Immediately, Scilphera lunged for them and jumped on top.
“Ugh, what do you want?” She snarled, her old yet sharp claws ready as the weapons attached to her wing clanked along the sudden turn. She then recognized who the dragon was and took her claws off them. “Sceya! I swear, next time you sneak up on me I will literally claw you!”
“Humph, well, you weren’t supposed to hear me.” Sceya responded, the sudden anxiety slowly perished as she got up. “Then next time, actually be quiet. Now I’ll have to practice again, I need to be as stealthy as possible, and you ruined it.” Replied Scilphera with a sneer. She flew out of the tunnel and landed on the dusty ground. As she looked around, she saw a couple other dragons were on the little space.
She snorted and walked towards a tunnel in the wall. Scilphera was about enter it when Sceyamoira yelled from behind her, “Hold on! I have a job for you! There’s a dragon that we need out of the picture. We need an assassin to complete the job, and you’re the stealthiest one I know! Tell me, would you like to take the job?” She finished and stared directly at Scilphera. She stared at Sceyamoira with a sharp glare, then responded with, “Fine. I could use the money, and I need to show my skills. Where are they, and who are they?” Sceyamoira smiled a toothy grin and replied, “They’re in the Wandering Contagion, the target is kept secretly in the deepest parts of some clan. I hope this face strikes a memory.” She said the last word with disgust.
Then, she handed Scilphera a tablet with information on a Pearlcatcher that was glittering gold with gems of the same color bonded on her. It had the exact location and description of the dragon including the layout of the area, everything needed for a good assassin. “This is it then? `Gorshzjanthu`, huh? Alright, when should I take `em out?” “Tomorrow. The quicker the better.” Sceya responded. “Good. I’ll head over there at dawn, that should give me enough time to find them.” Said Scilphera with a strong tone. Sceyamoira chuckled. “Very well then, you’ll get your pay once it’s done. Now, get rest and practice; you’ll need it.” She then stalked off, leaving Scilphera alone in the dust.
