 Hadern, along with Shio, is one of the protectors of the group. He adorns himself in battle ready apparel that is meant to off-put his enemies and lower their expectations before the attack. Bloodied bandages can almost always be found wrapped around his body, though not because he's injured. Hadern's main battle tactic is to use mangled wraps to cover himself in order to mimic an almost defeated opponent when, in reality, he's likely the most capable dragon on the field.


Though a bit ruthless, Hadern is very loyal to his den-mates. Because of this, he has not yet joined his offspring in the great war alongside the gods and instead stays to protect his new family. This has earned the dragon overall respect throughout the lair, especially from his apprentice Shio.
