Timid and shy, Remus prefers the solitude of books to his own adventures. He can often be found in various libraries, although no one is quite sure how he gets in. If he were being honest, Remus isn't entirely certain either. As he picks up various books, he finds himself in different libraries as he continues to read. It is as if he travels through the pages and can access any library that contains a copy of whatever book he grasps in his hands.

It is said that this unusual ability was conferred to him after he stumbled across a strange golden room filled with books in his birth clan...
