The history of Light spans across ages; my duty is to track that history - to make sure it is never forgotten.

Dawn, from the time she was a hatchling, knew exactly what she was meant to do. Having learned very early how to write, she always carried a journal with her; as she grew, so did her collection of books. She wrote down everything she came across, all across the Sunbeam Ruins and, later, across Sornieth, as she knew her purpose was to record the history of Light across the land. Despite the massive undertaking this obviously proven to be, she persisted, staying at various Clans to learn and observe from before moving on. She was extraordinarily observant, as came with her chosen path; having proved very useful many times throughout her life, she used this ability to not only record everything, but also to spot the differences between fact and fiction, truths and lies, friends and foes. In her pursuit of knowledge and history, she had also harnessed their observational skills to avoid conflict where she could, though she was not afraid to fight when it came down to defending those few she came to call friends.

Though she finds him a bit too optimistic at times, Dawn is quite fond of Skylight, even though they only spent a short amount of time together. He also expressed enjoying her company as well, even though she's "quite a serious one, aren't you?" But as academics, they worked well together, and in the short time they spent pouring over historical finds that the teams of volunteers helped bring in, they grew into friends as they argued over the historical significance of some artifact or another. Still, even after they went their separate ways, when they get the chance they exchange pleasant letters, often of their historical finds of which their friendship is based upon.

HISTORY

Dawn was hatched with the sense of calling all Weavers get; as an acolyte of the Lightweaver, it was in her very core that she record and document the history of the changing world.

Leaving her birth Clan early, she had wandered across the Sunbeam Ruins and the surrounding territories, writing in her collection of tomes, journals, and manuscripts.

Though she did often stay with various Clans she came across, she was never one to get too attached to any one thing or person; she was scholar and observer, after all, and was far too busy studying the ruins of long past civilizations to worry of such things.

Still, she wandered, and though she did end up acquainting herself with a select few like-minded seekers of truth despite her wishes, she had no particular desire to stay at any one place at any one time; there was little possibility for her to seek out the historical artifacts and ruins if she were to do so, after all.

But as she grew older and matured, she came to wonder of finding a place to return to, an actual place to call 'home'. She shook the thought off as sentimental, but as time passed and she stayed with more and more Clans and grew close enough with a select few to actually consider them 'friends', sometimes... she still wondered.

If nothing else, at the end of the day she still had her tomes and inkwells, and she considered that more than enough to complete her duties.
