Residue

Kind but serious, Residue serves as the main member of the town lookout. He spends a lot of his time sitting on top of Hawk's tree, using his multi-gaze to keep eyes on any monsters nearby and to check on those in the clan. They love people-watching, and they tend to know all the drama and gossip around town before anyone else because of it.

He tends to be pretty quiet and not good at starting conversations, but still likes to be included, and often gets that chance by being the moderator of gossip that other dragons come to to set a story straight.

They're also a huge bookworm, and while on their lookout perch, they are usually also reading a book with a few of their eyes at the same time. They really like learning things, even if they aren't very relevant to them.

They are Sunset's platonic partner, and sometimes they read books aloud for her when she's around.
