Biography

  • Hatched from one of the original frozen eggs, though hers was too far away from the magma floe to thaw out
  • The egg instead found its way into the claws of an oddity collector, who decided to try and force it to hatch by pumping as much fire magic as possible into it
  • It worked, in the sense that a hatchling eventually emerged, but the magic had also affected her development greatly
  • Can't regulate her internal temperature and fluctuates between hypothermic and feverish, to the point that the collector had to enchant the stone she wears around her neck to do it for her
  • Unable to speak or sing for long periods of time due to internal burns that damaged her vocal cords
  • She and Rattlesnake worked to develop a hissing language that she can use without pain
