Biography
Ever since they were a hatchling, Barney loved traveling around the world. When they grew a little older, they realized that they wanted to be a messenger - all the smells and sights to experience all over again felt comforting.
With all the travel, their cat, Marigold, helped stop things from becoming too lonely for a long time. But eventually, Barney started feeling homesick for something they didn't know existed. They met up with a Guardian they recognized, and relearned that her name was Hes. They realized that they were Hes' charge, or at least, one of them. The others seemed so friendly too, they realized this might just have been the home they were looking for all this time.
They'd miss the stars they'd gaze at on the long roads to anywhere in particular, but they were now part of a bigger constellation.
