Froyo

"Aww, Sparkles already knows how to shoot laser beams. They grow up so fast..."

Kind and patient, Froyo is a constant presence around the Philosophers' nests. With the parents often away working on their research, gathering food, or other endeavors, it's up to her to keep track of the hatchlings. She's seen her fair share of dragons pass through the nests and out of the clan, but she never feels too sorrowful about it. After all, she's been a bit of a free-spirited wanderer herself, and she knows the urge well.

While most of the dragons in the Philosophers simply know her as the hatchling caretaker, Froyo has had a long and storied life, starting with when she lived in the Shifting Expanse. During that time, she quickly rose to a management position over one of the many power plants there. However, she always yearned for something more, something other than a constrictive industry job.

It was while she was contemplating these facts that she first met Onyx. The innocent young Guardian had flown to the Expanse from the Southern Icefield, and upon meeting Froyo, he told her his dream: to protect dragons the world over from the evils of the world. Enchanted by his ideals, Froyo left her old clan and joined him as the second member of what would eventually become the Order of the Living Stone.

The two of them kept many lovers, but they always stayed mated to each other, even having a single child at one point, named Calcite. While Calcite and her half siblings learned the ways of knighthood, Froyo began to spend more time with the dragons of the Philosopher's Haven, the nearby clan of scholars. Realizing that her interests were in less violent endeavors, Froyo decided to leave the Order, but remained close by in the Philosophers so she could see her mate whenever she needed to.
