It is a amazing morning for flying! Did you know there was a garden and a big courtyard here? I didn't until Jupiter told me after I whined about longing to soar through the skys... There was a certain beauty in chaos, and Lilac the nocturne had always respected that. While this nocturne is not the first thing that comes in mind when you think of "chaotic", that trait is an unmistakable part of her personality. And yet, even with that in mind, Lilac was always very thoughtful, too, to the point where it began hard for her to enjoy life without overthinking. Even as a young ling, when she could barely use her wings to fly even as high as the common bird, she was already more concerned about life than any other dragonet. She would think, no worry, about the future of not only her, but the future of dragonkind as a whole. Another question that plagued her deeply was the question of purpose, a question which was on her mind from the moment she could ponder questions as such. What was the purpose of her life? Could she complete it? Or would she fail, like everything else did, in her opinion?
The only thing that could ever take her mind of such a question was
reading, and reading she did. With books, came knowledge, and knowledge made Lilac feel as if she finally had control over her own life, a feeling which she valued greatly. And yet, even with that in mine, the poor, mentally tortured nocturne was never free from the worries of her own mind, as they followed her like shadows. After all, how does one escape their own twisted mind?
