A little lore for her:

Her name is Brinley & she's the lightning powered Shadow mage who was originally supposed to be sold and leave to defend shadow under the curse of the battalions, but an adoptive clan had different plans for her.

Since she was injured (twisted spine) the clan whom hatched her eventually decided to give her away instead of wasting the shadow binders time (this clan was very religious towards her). So after CrimsonBlood's youngest siblings were able to fight for the Shadow binder in Brinley's place they were sent off with a letter for "relief & recognition" of Brinley. Once she arrived at The Crimson's lair she was imeadeatly given implants that would slowly & humanely replace her twisted spine, and eventually, Brinley was named for her bravery.
