Thank you for supporting Sunspur Ranch! In celebration of being open for over a year, I have introduced quite a bit of new stuff, including fancy-dancy Ancient pairs to fit into your cowboy clans!
Goalers (Neighlors, since they horses?) and Banescales are up. Thanks for voting in the poll! Unfortunately the match I found for Highway was, uh, a bit lighter. and I did it anyway.

Ever since Luminax arose, the plains have been an even deadlier place. Where once sturdy towns stood, now tents are put up and hastily moved in case of the behemoth's approach. Behind Luminax circles their followers -- archeologists, scientists, tourists -- and those who feast on what remains of those in his path. Buzzards, they are, wretched scavengers. They're patient and keen, watchful and careful, close to violence if anything threatens their next meal. And they follow that great beast, and the shine in their eyes when they see the emperor's gleaming hide suggests something deeper than opportunism. Something like reverence.

They blaze the trails before anyone else, flattening the grass with their massive feet with speed the likes of which rivals the rambra. They've evolved for swift, steady racing and a pace that can let them lope for long miles across the plains. They boast impressive horns for butting aside any obstacle in their way - be it outlaw or brush. The backbone of the wilderness, they are, runnin' for days with important parcels strapped to 'em. Haulin' loads at impressive speeds day after day until the runnin' is finally done. Ain't no storm, no tiredness, no nothin' on this plain gonna stop 'em from gettin' where they needs to be.

Is the reserve system replacing the regular system?
I hope not! I'll still be providing what I can. The limited slot number helps me manage to spin out cowboys on the side while working on the requests.

Can we pay upfront please? I have trouble tracking my money for when you finally finish a cowboy, and I'd like to support the ranch in general

i actually just spend earnings back on the ranch LOL it's a never ending cycle. some things that are overpriced are really just funding new, interesting pairs.

i got an idea for the look of a cowboy dragon, and i want to share it!
please do! post the scry in the thread and I can give you a response about it, see if it matches up with the cowboy aesthetic or not, and if it inspires me enough to be canon!
