Lyaeus is Afriel's guardian. He found the little Wildclaw alone and happily took him under his wing, far too nervous to let the permababy go anywhere himself. He doesn't know much of Afriel's past, or much about him at all, but Lyaeus is sure that the small Wildclaw will send him into cardiac arrest one of these days. He has a way of simply disappearing as soon as you take your eyes off of him for even a second. Lyaeus may be rather overprotective, but since he cannot have any hatchlings of his own, he thinks of Afriel as his baby.
