_ _ The show is smoke and mirrors, and Tanzanite helps with both. It is dragon-shaped, perhaps even was a dragon, but now its form is a filigree frame filled with shifting smoke and shrouded in magic. Tooru is its closest companion, she was the one to suggest they stay when the pair first encountered the Troupe. Tooru helps maintain its filigree framework, as he is an accomplished artificer. It cannot speak, but the troupe has worked their way towards an understanding regardless. Through a system of gestures, with an occasional mix of arcane energy, it can converse with the other troupe members. Its main role is setting up the big top, but it also helps with illusions for most of the performers to make the acts that much more compelling. When they come across a nice space to set up Grimm calls for a halt and the troupe moves to set everything up. Tanzanite spreads its wings out wide, wreaths the clearing with wisps of sweet-smelling mist and arcane energy, and in moments there is a structure that wasn't there before. It signals Blossom, and he gets to work moving the more real stage pieces into place, decorations unraveled from his packs and strung across the entrance, banners announcing the presence of the Troupe set along the path leading to the clearing. |
