I See This World

I see the whole world through these light hued eyes. I see the suffering, I see the pain.
My being, my soul, cannot stand this, I have to help, in some way.
I know that love can help, comfort and warmth.
I let the pained have comfort, safety.
I let them know they are loved even though they do not know from whom.
They feel the warmth, the love, That I send them through dreams,
Those soft times when the whole universe seems to be in your favour.

I see this all, somehow, Even though I cannot be everywhere at once like particles can.
I sense them, see them in my mind's eye, feel their feelings. I know I must help them, and I do.
From the very farthest corner of the galaxies to the smallest ant scurrying in their burrows,
I let them know that life is worth living, That they are acknowledged.

I look out upon the world, seeing the beauty, the love. Sunsets, sunrises,
Rainbows against a dark sky, the patter of rain on the roof when you're curled up by a fire,
A good book and a soft blanket. Someone you love holding you close.
The half abyss of sleep when just waking. I watch this, from high above and down below,
from sideways and in between. The love of souls, of dragons, of people.
Of Faes, Mirrors, Gaolers, And every other creature that walks, flies and swims.

I feel both the pain and the love. Both the soft and the hard times.
Oh, I don't like seeing the bad of the world, But the good outweighs it.
The calm as the light fades gives me hope, As does the rising of the fiery sun,
That the best of times were yet to come.

I feel the soft brush of wings of my siblings, The memory still fresh even from so many years ago.
So calm, so loved, so friendly. I give this feeling to others.
In the hopes that they can experience how lovely, how tender and soft the hard world can be.
