"You know I'll care about you everyday, guess it's time I tell you the truth. If I share my toys, will you let me stay? Don't wanna leave this Playdate with you..."

From the heavens, they dropped; sometimes alone, others in a giant cascade. It blocked out the already meek sky above, obscuring the views of any creature or dragon passing by the endless sun and smog. Always facing the same way, the only days where the horizon changed were those when it went dark, too dark to make out anything but the views of deep blue water falling into a chasm below. Too short a change, the horizon shortly returned to where it was after every drop, back to the never changing red horizons.

It was never anything different, just an endless chasm surrounded by nothing, but a Crybaby. They never stopped crying, forever they seemed to whale on and on. No matter if it was bright or dim, they cried on and on. Nobody ever came, besides the Forest, who took from the chasm the Crybaby kept pouring into. It was.. rather lonely there. Nothing else, but the Crybaby and Forest.

One night, from a cold mist, I pulled my legs and tail off the glass, and placed them down on the cold ground. There was more to this land, then tears and rocks, I saw it before I ever came here. Leaving only a trail of glass, soon swept away by more water, I left that place, and traveled across new land, a newly dissolving ice underneath my claws.

Clearly, there was more to this land, because just beyond a rim of pale archs, there was an entirely new structure before me. It was almost like my own paws, like there was a magic seeping out from the inside, into the old air. I tried to climb it, but as hard as I try to grasp its branches and leaves, they evaded me, and the weight of the glass would surely send me plummeting into green darkness.

I gave up trying to climb it, and began circling around its bushy form. Maybe something lived inside it, like the faint chirps from afar, or maybe it's a path to-

With a blast of charged air, I was lifted off the ground, and held in the scary claws of a not-Crybaby, staring down at me with a weird face.

After a moment, he opened his mouth,

"[ssssssssssssssspace]."
