BIOGRAPHY
Kindly and charitable, with a great love of nature and animals, Legolas is the epitome of elvenness. Born and raised within the great kingdom of Mirkwood, he has always known life with leaves in his hair, and can travel between the trees at speed despite his lanky body. He has taken after his Silvan mother as a fearsome warrior: he deftly strikes down foes with well-aimed arrows or slashes of his talons, and all fell things are wise to flee before him.

With great age comes great wisdom, and Legolas is indeed wise; though relatively young for an elf, he has survived 2,800 years of men, and finds the petty squabbles of mortals nigh unbearable. He finds Dwarves particularly insufferable, but as the years have passed, he has become fast friends with Fíli and Gimli, both prime specimens of their kind.

After defending his close friend Tauriel from his irate father during the Battle of the Five Armies, he chose to leave Mirkwood behind and explore the world, for his forest home was all he'd ever known. Wherever he travels, he is greeted as a prince, though he is loath to be treated as such. Before the War of the Ring, he could be found wandering the wilds alongside Tauriel and a strange ranger known as Strider.
