Tired of running out of energy in the middle of an experiment, a few inventors in a lightning clan decided to try energy storage on a large level. VoltaiC was built to store energy until needed. Because the group was incapable of making something that just worked, they decided to make her look just like a dragon.

Unfortunately, on her first run out, VoltaiC malfunctioned and was decommissioned. Her builders decided to go in a different direction and tucked the failed battery into one of their storage caves outside their lair.

Of course, nothing machine-like stays hidden long when the tinkerers from Chaotic Daydreams are on the loose. The lifeless machine was found by Delta and Serpentine and brought home to tinker with until she got running again.

While they have managed to turn VoltaiC on, they are still messing with a way to program her to be sentient rather than just a battery. This is going faster now that one of the newer members of the lair, Wight, has joined them. With her help, and the assistance of Aleron as well, hopefully someday the beautiful battery will someday 'live' like the other mechanical oddities in the lair.
