Everyone knows about the Ridgebacks penchant for “borrowing” things, but it has been found out that they had even “borrowed” eggs as well. How they got the mostly Tundra eggs is a mystery, but the resulting dragons have finally surfaced. This group of dragons has lived in the massive network of tunnels the larger dragons have carved out, surviving on the meager plant growth around them. They work some of the great machines, tend to the cables, and generally help around. The time spent underground has changed them. Black and blue mottled skin and fur cover their hides. Some have growths that look like gems, reflecting bits of light in the tunnels. Others developed glowing runes and horns, and even others appear cracked; as if struck by the very lightning they work with.
