Kallias, true to his name, is a dragon obsessed with beauty. Not just his own beauty, though he cares a great deal about as well, but the beauty of his clan and everyone in it. He believes everyone has something beautiful about them, but many dragons need help seeing it. So he made it his job to help all of his clan mates find their inner beauty. Now if only he wasn't so pushy....

Kal is a sensitive dragon--both sensitive to criticism and sensitive to others' feelings. Easily touched by suffering, Kallias wouldn't hurt a fly. He believes in others, is deeply hurt by compassionless behavior, and has a hard time saying no. Harsh realities are avoided either through escapist behavior or self-delusion; but every now and again reality does raise its ugly head, and hits Kallias over the head. This is a sad time indeed. He retreats into his own world, self-pitying and giving pep talks to himself ("I will never trust again!"). Rest assured, though, that these periods are rather short-lived and even useful. Kallias seems to derive energy from his (generally short) bouts of self-pity. He comes back stronger, with a spring in his step, ready to face the world again, and just as, if not more, compassionate and trusting as he was before. Some might even wonder if Kal finds pleasure in suffering. This isn't the case, he just pulls a lot of creative energy from sadness. Kallias is the poet and artist with angst .

Kallias frequently pegged as wishy-washy, but this is all a matter of opinion. What you will find behind a vaguely directionless, spacey manner is a deep dragon with real dreams. His dreams are more than getting that picket fence or making it up the corporate ladder. Kal tuned in to a higher purpose and his dreams transcend the individual. A deep love for humanity, and compassion that knows no bounds is found within this dragon. Kallilas is in no way a cutthroat business type, nor is he given to throwing himself out into the world in an aggressive manner. But make no mistake about it, Kal can be extraordinarily successful when given the chance to express himself. The arts, music, teaching, drama, healing arts...these are all fields in which Kallias can find expression. His imagination, attunement to others, and remarkable intuition endow him with enviable gifts of insight and creativity.
