Katerina

Snapdragon's kooky twin sister, Katerina is the one who entertains and lifts everyone's spirit. She loves performing and being able to make others smile... and the attention. She performs because it makes her feel valued, and it gives her a purpose in life.

A welcoming and friendly spirit, she helped Kasi and Nightsong settle in when they first arrived in the Clan, and hangs out with them whenever she can. The trio are inseparable. Kasi and Nightsong were a big help in dispelling Katerina's deep-set insecurities: she was the only one of all her siblings born with stars on her scales and a lack of powers. Liberty always tried to understand, but Katerina felt she never quite got it; however, after she met Kasi and Nightsong and realised other dragons really didn't care whether or not she inherited her bloodline's magic, Katerina became a lot more comfortable in her own skin.

Snapdragon - Katerina's much more shy and awkward twin brother. She's always coaxing him to come out of his shell, but she also doesn't mind the fact that he lets her have all the attention. He's most confident with her, and they get along well. It's often Snapdragon's quiet advice that keeps Katerina grounded in hard times.

*also maybe she theorises that her powers are lacking because she was born with white talons - perhaps because some of her stars were covered by the pure white, she ended up powerless. She uses this as part of her performance and paints her face and wings to match.
