Chosen by the Garnet Mother and the Golden Father before the two left to serve among the ranks of Tidelord, Saphola – despite being a Lightning dragon – has been accepted by this Water clan as their devout Leader. The only one who ranks above her in power is the Ashen Chieftan. After the clan moved to the Fishpine Reef in spring, Saphola began butting heads not with the stern, opinionated Tiamat, but with Nebulos instead. She is proud to have transferred the clan's territory to a less crowded reef. They have better hunting, and the Coliseum team has better training, but Nebulos and Saphola have been arguing over the decision ever since the first crate was unpacked. Beyond the grudge Nebulos holds against her, Saphola continues to encourage den expansion and improve the wealth of the clan. It is not tradition to raise your hatchlings, but Saphola keeps close watch over her son, Kordiades, regardless. Some say he may be next to take her place.
