After hatching during a great storm, it was revealed that Sasskhal, one of the children of the old matriarch Calypso had great power. At a young age, he was difficult for the hatchling caretakers Sweetie and Lyre to raise on their own. He was greatly curious, but his curiosity frequently got him into trouble. As However, this didn't stop him from being terribly troublesome. As he grew older, Sasskhal was becoming dangerously powerful--it seemed that raging storms were created by his emotions, and the terrible weather was beginning to negatively effect ships and trade routes around colony. After the choppy water put other dragon's lives in peril, some of his power was sealed. This halted his growth, keeping the dragon small. Sass was very despondent about the trouble he had caused those around him, even though nobody blamed him.
To try and give him new purpose, he was apprenticed by Aracnysin Ala in the ways of alchemy. As he learned more about potion crafting, he became more energetic and invested in the science. With his natural talent, Sasskhal discovered that he had the ability to brew and bottle great storms, and this time, control them! His bottled storms became a great asset to the clan.
He was still pretty troublesome, though. Everyone thought that the stern Ala would be strict with the kid, but instead, she just instilled a terrible scientific curiosity and a disrespect for authority in him. Now that his best friend, Itzli, lives in the clan, the two of them get up to a lot of trouble and make some great storms together with their magic and science. 		PTiWJl4.png
