Quirk: Hates water more than most Ridgebacks, eats snow when grumpy.
Fierce and sly, Norberta is a deadly hunter. Her size alone makes prey have a hard time escaping her. Norberta lives up to the Ridgeback code and enjoys borrowing things, which can get on the Wildclaw hunter nerves- however, whenever she's asked to return something, Norberta will do it without a second thought- at the very least, she's reasonable. She's often regarded as Yurallia's second in command, although some argue that she might not be best for the job.
Norberta once belonged to an adopted family in a small Clan near the outskirts of the Icefield. They were a young couple of Wildclaws who had so far been unable to have children. Norberta's egg was found in the middle of a snowstorm, and the two other dragons decided to raise her. This was all well and good while she was an egg, but their Clan had many mouths to feed, and when Norberta hatched, that only added to the problem. They hid the Ridgeback as long as they could, but when she grew too large, they had no choice but to send her away, fearing that if she was discovered, the Ridgeback would be punished or harmed.
Norberta was escorted by her parents to another Clan with many other Ridgebacks, who gladly took her in. From there, she grew into an adult, a strong fighter, and a skilled hunter. Norberta then left her Clan to search for her parents. Unfortunately, she was unable to find them, believing that the two Wildclaws that had taken her in had moved to another part of the world. Norberta had no idea what to do. She eventually settled on traveling a bit, seeing the world. But though she enjoyed the volcanoes, mountains, and jungles the world had to offer, the Icefield was always where she returned to.
Norberta eventually stumbled across the Azeryx Clan, stayed there for a week, before deciding to stay there for good. She is a skilled hunter and provides a lot for the Clan. When anyone asks why she stayed there of all places, Norberta just shrugs- it doesn't have to be so complicated.
All Ridgebacks hate water, but Norberta's aversion is legendary. Even the sight of open water can make her stomach turn, and she gets seasick whenever she gets near the ocean. For this reason, she sticks to the snowy forests and mountains of the Icefield, gathering meat for all of the carnivores, hoping that they'll bring her enough fish so that she'll never have to get close to it. One time, Snare jokingly splashed Norberta with a puddle of water. He claims his shoulder still aches from time to time when Norberta struck him back.
She gets along with Yurallia, Snare, and Click. She's also friendly with Vykor, Zeryx, and Hail. There are many rumors about her and Snare.
She took part in the Bringer War, and took down many of Shredder's rogues. She and Yurallia also managed to save Ash from Veil. While she survived the battle, she and her fellow hunters are grieving for Casper, a Fae hunter that fell in the battle.
