Quite early he found out how resistant his scales are to magic. Not only that - his body would repel banes and poisons too, completely unaffected by anything that was not a sword or good old claws. One would be proud to be half-immortal, but Kageni immediately took this for granted and rushed to help others who were not this lucky.
He uses own body as a vessel now, taking curses of dragons who were damned either by enemies or their own loved ones, donates his blood to ones suffering from poisoning and volunteers to participate in questionable experiments of delighted scientists.
Kageni fails to understand own worth and is usually quiet and melancholic. His urge to help, to do something, anything, results in low self-esteem and inability to make friends any other way. His mate Aes tries to be as supportive as she can, but being busy with work, she rarely has time to spare.
