At her sister Xanthia's request, Zeelra has temporarily assumed the position of lead advisor, however, she despises the political power and mantle of responsibility.

Zeelra is well known for her motherly qualities and is soft-spoken and kind-hearted. She balances Xanthia's leadership, acting as a mediator between the matriarch and the people. Her role as an advisor is very important to the functionality of the clan, and Zeelra ensures that Xanthia is aware of their people's needs. However, she often undervalues her own perspective and struggles to voice her own opinions.

Zeelra hails from the lands of Jora, on the far eastern seaboard. Growing up in a cramped and chaotic den, Zeelra was often overlooked as the middle child. She was closer to her siblings than her parents, and she always sought Kelsey and Zuko's approval. Early in her adulthood, she slipped away from the clan hoping to finally make a positive impression on her parents. However, she lacked the necessary life skills to survive and was taken in by her long-lost sister Xanthia.

She hopes to one day put her full focus on her duties as the clan's midwife, however, she knows that that will have to wait until a suitable replacement advisor is found.
