Shade is a quiet and mysterious dragon. Also the second brother of the three. He doesn't really talk much with others, but he does care for his clan in his own way. When his older brother, Gavin, gets carried away with his adventures, Shade would be the reasonable one in the group.

When he was a hatchling, Shade doesn't like to play around as much. He would usually sit in the shade of the trees and relax while watching over his two brothers. Most of the time, he doesn't show any interest in his adopted siblings, but when they get into trouble, he'll immediately come to their aid without a second thought.

Now an adult, he became a strong fighter and watches the clan from the shadows. He's a bit of a medicine man/ witch doctor and would often go foraging for herbs to make medicine for any dragons that get sick. He's also a shaman in a way with his dealings with the other side.
