NOTES - Pina (Beastars) fandragon - I can't believe it. Why. - Has a long flowing mane. - Almost got eaten as a teen by a carnivorous dragon (???) - Was even born in a meat factory... - Which is why he hates meat-eaters and makes jabs at them constantly. - He has trauma from it, and is overall super afraid of carnivores - though he hides it thru "soft" aggression (or even "outright" aggression, at times). - For him, carnivores are dumb and feral (and it is a "fact" to him.) - Is autistic!! - Is similar to our planet Earth's Dall Sheep in design. Like, he looks like a mix between that, and a Tundra. - He's half beast / half draconic. Gotta explain this... Meat lab stuff??? - Wears a red and black hoodie. - Is always seen wearing his hood up. (How does it work with his big horns?? MYSTERY... Oh no wait, he has like... Clasps on his hood :'33) - Is very pretty physically, but has a very smug / self-centered / softly arrogant personality. - Very casual / laid-back in his behaviour. - Takes a lot of time caring about his appearance, every day. - GNC of some kind?? Yeesss!!! - His relation to gender is... Extra complicated, tbh (TO FIND OUT) - Like, he's a hybrid, sooo... His very identity, and gender realizations, are all kinds of heck-ed up, LOL. - Breeds Pet Rams; they're a handful, and only experienced trainers or knowledgeable individuals, can take care of those correctly... Those Rams be like, next level, LOL. - Refuses for them to be culled / eaten / pelted. They're to stay alive, and live long and fulfilling lives :')) ! - GENERAL INFO ABOUT IN-BEASTARS-UNIVERSE AU vvv - At first, he hates Jack, Legoshi's friend (because despite being a carnivore, Jack is very soft and mellow, which enrages Pina / has him feeling confronted in his anti-carni "facts"). - Bullies and abuses him because of this. - He also is a jerk to Legoshi at first. "Apologize for being born a carnivore!" says the hybrid as he glares down at the wolf... - Literally their first "real" encounter, in Cherryton High. OMg Pina whyyy - Pina was like "you gotta get on your knees, and apologize for your carni nature and bloody fangs!" (which is an image to say that Legoshi, being a wolf, has blood on him by definition due to being a carni). - Like that one scene when Legoshi meet the horse Beastars dude, for the first time... It's the same "bend down and apologize for being a carni" deal... (Except Pina is not like... Threatening to kill him??) - Omg, and Legoshi who just... Does it, just like that, and goes "is this what you want?" in a questioning tone... holy heeeck he's sooo pure :'(((( sobs - This caused a scene in the school, the other students stopping by, and wondering what was happening in the middle of this inside corridor... That was when Louis intervened, yeye! Taking Legoshi's defence, and confronting Pina... - They're all first years then, I'm pretty sure!! - Yeah like, Haru and Legoshi, Pina, Louis, etc... Are all paaart of the same year :'33! Not the same classes tho!! - Pina was born in a lab run by carnivores (similar stuff to Louis??), had blood taken from him (as well as stomach contents, by awake dissection, to see how his peculiar mixed biology digests food). - Had a black shock collar around his neck then. - Pina is very calm and smug as explained above, but when he gets angry... Boy does he fly off. - Like, can-barely-control-himself angry. (Explained by his carni instincts, I know now, LOL). - Stims by taking care of his hair / fur almost constantly. - Twists his hands, too (or manipulates objects; he always has to do something with his hands.) - Was good-ish friends later on with a red / rufous cat student, stopped hating carnivores a little too around the same time. - Was probably saved by Legoshi and other carnivores, from... Something? Kidnapping? - Smokes a little during class breaks or lunch breaks. - Doesn't really handle social situations super well? Stays a bit away from everyone, because he's awkward overall (or at the very least, he personally feels awkward around others.) - Takes medication for his anxiety / past trauma / PTSD(?) every morning, when at school. Later on, he moves to a "only-on-moments-needed" or "non-regular" medication. - His classmate, Legoshi, is also autistic - stims by flicking his ear, and applying pressure to his front arm with his upper and lower molars. - Not like, biting himself so he bleeds... But Legoshi just likes the feeling / pressure. - He doesn't use his fangs for this, so... - Legoshi is kinda ashamed of that stim, and Pina once walked in on him doing it (in an empty classroom / dorm??). - It was quite a situation, haha. - But Pina brushed it off? - Legoshi also loves digging in the earth with his claws, to look at bugs. - Legoshi is a very precious boy who loves every bug, pass it on. - Holy hell, it's canon????? HOLY HECK I GOT IT RIGHT - Pina is sometimes called "Pinacolada" (like the drink) as a tease / joke by the other herbivores; also is called the "Pinnacle" of Beauty, lol. - Insert more puns and jokes with his name, here. - Something something with a cheetah pelt on a wall?? - Often talks to Haru, is friendly to her. Will bend down to talk to her - as he's tall... Like, quite much taller than her lol. - Haru calls him "Pinata" affectively, omGGGG so cuuute!! - Is in the school's Theatre Club, then drops out due to the Black Market shenanigans / school disinterest, and becomes a dancer in a club. - His "job name" in the club, as a dancer, IS "Pinnacle"... OMg??? - In the Theatre Club, was the one to play the Horned Beast (or the Horned King, I don't remember) from the canon's play, instead of Legoshi. - Legoshi, being stage-shy and preferring to be in the lighting / support department, didn't want to play a main role like LOL. - Has fangs?? Holy hell wait, what?? - A hybrid between a carnivore and a herbivore?? Like, mixed genes?? Lab stuff??? - Tried to get his fangs trimmed in an underground "beauty surgery" place? But his fangs just... Grew back to their original / natural size oMG - During his hate-phase towards carnivores, got into the possession of a wolf fur coat????? OMg?? - Or like, part of a wolf's back and sides pelt (with holes for the arms), which he kept secretly at his place... Like a terrible secret... - Tho, he did wear it from time to time, in the Black Market... Most customers looked at him with contempt and even some horror (like, a sheep wearing a wolf coat? LOL it's like the saying but backwards... But yeye, the peeps be like "what is this? this guy do be serious about his stuff.") - He did feel guilty about it tho... Since that meant a wolf died for this coat. - Like, unconsciously, he knew he had gone too far (supporting the Black Market with this buy, etc)... But even after he warmed up to carni peeps, he kept it (as a memento of his past errors, I guess??) - I think Pina has some "carnivore instincts"... Like Legoshi, a bit? Just much less intense, of course LOL - Pina got abducted or whatev, and almost ended up being skinned alive for his wool / pelt. - OmGGGG - Yeah, like... It's written a bit above in this description box?? He got kidnapped by carnivores (probs from the Black Market, or from a criminal gang?), and Legoshi came to his aid... Something something. - I don't know much about that, yet. - Yeah ok, like. - In his "carni-hatred" phase, Pina started hanging around the Black Market (mostly the parts that sold carni stuff, for other carnis and even for herbivores, like seen in canon); he went there between classes and after school, and even on free days. - Like... Hanging out with the wrong kinds of peeps, etc. - It was when he got his carni friend (the rufous cat-like / cat-ish one at Cherryton High), and he felt better overall towards his own hatred and trauma, that he then wanted to leave the Black Market's clutches... That is when his old "friends" turned on him, and he almost got shiv-ed for his pelt :'VV OMG... - I know his carni friend died eventually? Got killed by other carnivores, pretty sure... - OMg also. Part of Pina's hatred towards carnis, is because he's an hybrid and he despises that carni part of himself... Internalized hatred, y'know :'(( - But he hides his head in the sand, putting his carni hatred on his upbringing and past in a meat / biologic lab... - Has a red tattoo on his right shoulder. The ink / dyed used, made his (originally white) fur there, all in big spikes, and "raised" on his skin. - Is it Komaeda's jacket thing? Omg it's a following pattern, LOL. - Or at the very least, it was in that shade of red, and placed in the same shoulder area as on Komaeda's jacket... - His codename in the lab was "Zero Hybride"?? - Yeah like, since he's generation "zero", so to speak?? The first of his kind, at least the first hybrid of his line... Or something like that, idrk. Would've maybe been used for breeding experiments / for breeding more hybrids, down the line... Should the lab not have been closed down a bit before that, LOL. - Knows French. Is fluently bilingual (English / French), compared to everyone else who mostly only knows English. - Learned French at the lab, from other prisoners / neighbouring cellmates (that came from another place in the world, where French was their main language). - Like, omg they (whoever they were) taught their language to him so that they could both exchange and pass the time, and also think about something other than the bad treatments... OMG sooobs. - Pina tried to teach French to Haru, speaking to her in that language at times (like, taking her hand in his, and saying that her hands were soft, in French LOL); and then translating, hehe :'D! - When Pina became friends with the cat student, and felt less hatred for carnis, he apologized to Jack (Legoshi's friend) for being such a rude idiot to him, all those times before... Jack, being very kindhearted, accepted his (sincere) apologies! - Pina ate someone as an older teen?? Or as a teen... He tasted live meat, at the very least... - Is in a physical relationship with Legoshi, after the latter also drops out of school and lives in his small apartment. - School delinquents being together, aahhh OMG :'D! - Or wait... It might be more complex than just "they're together"... HmmmM... - Louis told Pina off for him bullying Jack and for his hatred of carnis; Pina and Louis therefore did Not like each other in school. - Louis thought that the world would be better with everyone being at peace, and that societal tensions (carni vs herbi) did not need to exist. Pina obvs did Not agree due to his past and trauma, LOL. - Tho Louis was also like "your trauma is not an excuse to be a jerk!", because like... Louis also went thru some things, but is still not "carni-phobic" despite his own past, y'know. - Melon is also a herbi-and-carni hybrid, I think?? - YOOO WHAT WAIT - I CHECKED THE WIKI AND I GOT A BEASTARS THING RIGHT, YET AGAIN!!! - The Multiverse is indeed real... LOL hahaha :'D - From the same lab as Pina, in this timeline, preeetty sure... - Melon and Pina met each other for the first time, in the Black Market's background, I think. - Pina met Kyu in the Black Market's Underground, became friends with her in a way? They're in a physical relationship, at least... - That's how Pina realized that he was pan, and that he felt different attraction-based things for females and males. - Emotionally-wise, he's more into guys, for example :'33! So pansexual, but homoromantic?? - Yes, makes sense :'33c! LOL - Pina confides a lot in Kyu, telling her his struggles and his worries... Etc. - And she can do the same... Tho Kyu is more closed off to emotional ties or relationships, so she keeps some things or details to herself. - Pina loves howling at the moon :'33! For fun, y'know! - But that's def later on, when he's more at peace with his carni attributes... Before that, he represses that instinct. - He has a rough / barbed tongue as well, like felines :'33! - There's a thing with the fighting "Chimeras", too... That's a later plot point, but Kyu can see Pina's "Chimera" even when he isn't fighting against her... - It's like... A horned feline thing :'33! With big fangs, and a large fluffy mane / nape! Actually, it kinda looks like an FR Aberration, for the head (not the one with the curved horns, but the other one!!) - Since Pina himself is a hybrid (or a melting pot of different genes between carni and herbi - TO DISCOVER WHICH SPECIES IN GENERAL), there is some kind of irony in all of this Chimera thing :'3c!! - He's def Dall sheep + feline of some kind... Probs some wolf thrown into the gene mix, too. - Pina flicks his ear as a stim, later on; like Legoshi!! Learned that from him :'3! - Uses "he" and "it" as pronouns. "It" is when he personally feels self-loathing; but as he becomes more and more comfy with his hybrid nature and carni side, Pina will mostly only use "he". - For gender identity, he's like... I guess he feels like many things, but nothing at the same time (a reflection of his very species identity). - It's extra hard to put into words, because that stuff is like... "Visceral", man. - I think Pina will start fighting for "what's right", later on... Thinking that he should put his hybrid nature to the service of peace and good. - A bit like Legoshi... Fighting for what's righteous, for a better society with less terrible things and strife, etc. - "If life gave me these fangs and carni instincts... It is so that I could protect those dear to me." is what he said. - Later on, when he's doing the "right thing"... Wears a black and red outfit suuuper similar (like, almost uncanny-like) to the new slug cloak... Like, a loose, segmented jacket with a large hood? Please FR, I need a red and black recolour for him ;w; - Goes in the Black Market as an undercover agent... Something?? - Something something... He hangs out with Melon a ton, beforehand... Need to figure this timeline out. - Eventually loses his left horn / gets it cut off near the base, by bandits... Or well, criminals... OMg can't recall. - He gets it replaced with another one, tho. Like, an actual procedure that drills another entire horn, like his, into the remaining base of his lost / cut off one... - 'Cause otherwise. Can you imagine him going around with only one horn? The lack of weight balance, for his poor head and neck D': - At least, I don't think it's his own horn, being drilled back onto his head... Probs a synthetic one? Made JUST for him, y'know. - Need to remember. LOL - There will be a small faint line, all around where the two horn "parts" are attached together. Slightly visible from up close, but it does the weight balance job juuust fine, so... omG. Aesthetics be screwed, lol. - Also got his tail cut off at half its natural length, during that run-in with the criminals? So the end bit is all spiky and weird (making his tail obvs shorter, and almost looking like a spiky wolf tail? vs his normally long and curly tail). - Plus, he has a small claw mark / cut, going from the left side of his upper lip, upwards towards his muzzle (ending a bit, before reaching his eye). - Basically, Pina is poly? Is with Kyu, Melon, AND Legoshi... Relatively close-ish on the timeline? - Def with Kyu and Melon at the same time, I think. Legoshi was more for a short while, beforehand... - But yeah, not sure about the relationships' placements on the timeline... - I know that he does "the right things" after a bit (like said previously), doing his own vigilante work against injustice with Legoshi. - Legoshi, who will become, like, the official Beastars in the future. - Replacing the horse dude who I can never remember the name of... Since he will die eventually. - From like, fighting off bad dudes... Probs in the Melon Arc of this timeline, actually. Unlike canon where he lives. - Need to figure it out... - - - I'm just basing this off dreams, what. - They were kinda something ngl. - Familiar to give him; Spiral Capricat (to represent Melon). - insert |
