A lost treasure
Hi! I can’t believe you found me in this basket, it was so cold and dark. Thank you so so much for saving me! Let me tell you a little bit about myself...
Solaris was the offspring of two very greedy dragons. His father was a thief, stealing gold and treasure anywhere he could find it. But the real obsession started with his mate. Solaris’s mother was the guardian of their treasure and gold cave. As the pile grew, her hunger for shiny metals was unbelievable. Solaris was her prized possession, for he was the brightest of all the metals. But his father resented him, stealing all the attention and love his mate had given him for being the source of her gold. One night Solaris’s father put him in a basket and dropped him in the middle of a forbidden territory. Solaris cried for hours wondering where his mother was to spoil him with her love and kind words. But no one came. Solaris hid in the basket, too afraid to leave for days, only his memories of lavish metals and treasures kept his mind at peace.~
