Hollow

Forests filled with leaves, fruits, and creatures alike span the lands of Sornieth. From charred wood housing fire-proof beetles to the empty, rotting husk of a tree becoming a breeding ground for bio-luminescent spores, there is a very common mistake passing creatures may make.

Hollow doesn't always mean empty.

For hiding atop branches, shrouded by leaves, or sitting within the tree itself, may lie a Aberration, eyes trailing on potential prey as she prepares to strike.

Hollow never chose her name, nor did anybody give it to her. It simply stuck ever since she struck at her own mother from within the confines of what appeared to be an empty eggshell.

And so something less dragon and more teeth than anything was set loose upon Sorneith, ready to strike and lunge at anything that could be considered food.

So when you're travelling these lands, know that Beastclans hiding around corners may not be your biggest concern. Even if the eyes above those teeth are smiling, happy to meet a new friend, those teeth are still dangerously close to piercing your armour.
