Nested deep in the heart of The Great Furnace, the fornax create beautiful works of art. Their name "fornax" means "The Furnace". These dragons are some of Flamecaller's most dedicated blacksmiths, working alongside their coworkers, the Forge Dragons. and use their skills to create powerful weapons and sturdy armors.

They are the furnaces of the dragons and the very heart of Flamecaller’s workers. Their wings are branded with generations of lava work stained and protected from the heat of the magma, and their skin is hardened with an incredible resistance to heat. It’s rumored they’ve been lurking in and around lava for so long, that some of them eat it, drink it and even spit it up. The Fornax were very rarely seen, as they lurked in the deepest corners of The Great Furnace to forge and to stop the lava from overflowing into neighboring lands, but lately their population has exploded and they're popping up all over Sorneith. The dragons keep their trade, and remain incredibly skilled blacksmiths and metalworkers.
