Originally, Plum came to live with the clan pre-migration to Windsinger's domain, looking to study the raging storms of the Shifting Expanse and harness electricity to fuel his small laboratory. When the time for migration came along, he was torn between staying or accompanying his new family on their journey. Half heartedly, he left with them, his laboratory now relocated to the same cliff side where Kellam houses their nesting grounds. Not allowed to experiment inside of the new flying lair, he primarily remains in his den in the cliff cave, eagerly waiting for Geiger to bring him supplies.

Like most spirals, Plum talks fast. Very fast. And half of the time, he's nonsensical to others of his own kind. His assistant sprite often leaves notes for others, since Plum just forgets to tell everyone what he needs, expecting it to be delivered anyway. His hungry mind is always being occupied with impractical tests and ideas, like how to make fish grow feathers.
