What I'm getting is that this guy is maybe quite a downer/loner who doesn't feel like he has any connections to people around him. Slow to trust too? Maybe gets himself into self-fulfilling prophecies because he doesn't trust people to be friendly, so he doesn't let them get close, so they don't get close, etc.
He works for the Oculus like Dina does, came in to serve as backup and stuff
