The child:
Warty's life started out inauspiciously enough, hatching with his clutchmates Leper and Menace. But now he has been selected for a higher purpose.
He has been chosen. No more shall Warty fear the cruel slaughter seen by his clanmates in the Mire, or look to be borne up on the winds of his deity dragon.
