"Who turns dragons to stone and poisons the rivers?"

At the edge of the piercing forests of the Starwood Strand lie some Serthis in wait, but they are not alone. No, fighting beside them are Serthkin, like Manasa, dragons raised from the egg by the Serthis, and they are more savage, cunning and brutal than their dragonraised kin could ever hope to become. They need to be, for just like their Serthis kin, the Serthkin pit themselves against each other during their younger years, and the weakest do not survive.

Neither do the cocky if they try to challenge their more experienced elders to a straight match without laying traps beforehand, unless the elder in question has become old enough to become frail. It is a ruthless existence, but it does not bother Manasa and the other Serthkin - they live for the sake of the fight, and they enjoy their brutal lifestyle.

One of the Serthis of Manasa's knot has chosen to accompany her to her new home and has decided to stay alongside her.
